Waking - reeling a lure slowly on the surface so that it leaves
a wake - is a great technique for getting big fish to hit.
Traditional lures used for waking must be fished excruciatingly
slow, and often require the angler to hold his rod high, making it
harder to get a good hook set. The design of the Wake Shad has
resulted in the best and easiest to use "Wake Bait" ever made!
The Wake Shad casts well and stays on the top throughout your
cast, whether fished slow or fast. It is shaped like a shad and the
special jointed body design has remarkable action with a perfect
combination of wiggle and flash. The ability to retrieve it at a
variety of speeds and with different amounts of gurgle and wakes
make it more versatile and better than other surface lures. The
action and shad profile draw the attention of the biggest fish in
the area.
The Wake Shad is great for big bass, stripers, musky, pike,
peacock bass, etc. and is a great companion to the Strike King King
